I agree with everything you said.
Well it's a sponsor, and I believe in helping them best we can (as I have done with cozye...). Those are the things that either bothered me, or stuck out from the previous days, and if a group did that stuff, or didn't do the stuff I didn't like, then I would ride with them a lot more than the groups that screwed me over.

I like STT, but they pissed me off a lot this year with some of the crap that they did (especially charging me to get in to Putnam BOTH days, even after I freaking paid more for that weekend than ANY previous weekend at Putnam, and come to find out all the money that was paid, went straight in to the hosts pocket). Even though I might be running quite a few days with STT, if someone had weekends on the track that I can attend, are reasonable on their price, and don't try to gouge me for it, I would ride with them in a heartbeat over STT, just STT has the days on the track.

Shoot with budgeting to do 12-20 days on the track this year, if they run a good day, they will continue to get my business over the big organizations like STT & NESBA. My first day(s) this year are with a group I didn't care for and screwed me out of a session and time on others (as previously mentioned), but I am running with them again because although they did this, they are cheap (almost $70 cheaper for the weekend), and they are fairly laid back over all (and allow passing in INT)...

Dress for the crash, not the ride. (Assuming you still have a ride.)
Is it solipsistic in here, or is it just me?

i appreciate all the replies guys & gal(s). Ive taken down all the comments so far.

Right now for my BlueGrass Dates i will have

    - 2 Ambulances

    - Boston Moto will be providing Track side Tire Support (Pirelli) I believe they will also be bringing along Pitbull, Chickenhawk, and some other products

    - Mike Matire of GMD Computrack NYC i believe will be able for trackside suspension support. More to come on this in the future

    - Photagrapher - I do not currently know of any photographers in this area, but i am open to having them

    - Laptimer Beacon will be available and placed on the Start/Finish line

    - As far as "Race Prep" will be required, the oil filter and drain bolt will have to be safety wired. For those who cannot do it before hand, We will be offering hose clamps and safey wiring for $10. Im still deciding about coolant replacement for advanced group.

    - For lunch we may offer a low cost option. We are going to test it out at VIR in March.

    - Track Entry fees - No worries, You will not pay at the gate.

    - Operations - Being the BGMP is a new track, we may have to bore people with the usual, But I like everyone else who has been to a track day knows whats up and we will make it as short as possible. Novice riders are gonna be required to do a follow the leader session, and morning sessions will be 2 laps follow the leader. I will make sure we have a white flag available to notify that you are on your final lap. Im also a fan of not destroying another groups time out on track, we will adjust the groups as neccessary to make sure everyone has approriate track time. If we see someone being stupid we will make sure a approriate action is being taken. I dont want to see anyone have a bad day, especially since you are most likely taking a day off of work.
