    Fable II

With my internet still being down I went out and got Fable II. anyone have any tips on the game? I just got out of the "Heroes Tomb" in the very beginning. I have my daughter and had a lot of branches to clean up so I haven't played much yet.

No spoilers please, just tips if ya got any.

i love this game. we'll have to co-op sometime when you get your internet back.

i'd say start buying stores and properties asap because you earn tons of money (even when your not playing)

also continuously buy the potions that give you exp bonus.

Buy up property whenever you can. That's for sure. Also, chopping wood and working at the blacksmith is decent ways to make money. Then again, this is all if you are going the path of good. Money and such is WAY easier to come by if you take the darker path.

Also, the best tool you have is your dog.

Oh yeah, and one more thing. Don't waste too much money on weapons until you can afford to buy the ones you can put enchantments in (or whatever the game calls them, I forgot). Once you can start stacking these, you really start owning fools.

Yea, I'm sticking with good. Thanks for the tips.

What makes me mad is that I bought the game used and there was a smudge on the disc I didn't notice. So on my way down to the tomb my dog found a buried rubber ball, but in the tomb the game froze and I had to start over in the Gypsy village and now the ball's gone My dog really liked that ball...

I've since cleaned the disc and loaded the game onto the HD.

stick with good and try to earn as many of the expressions as you can doing that (it's easier to turn evil from good, than goof from evil) try to find all the demon doors, they each have a certain weapon...even though it's tedious, try and find all the gargoyles, if you do you get a kickass weapon....this isn't a spoiler, but a good tip for the end of the game my friend told me about and it works....when you get to the end (and you'll know when) save the game, and then you get a choice between 3 options (endings) after you choose one, turn the xbox off, reload from the save point and you'll get all 3 achievements instead of having to play through 3 times

Well, I beat the main story line last night and here's MY review up to date (no spoilers):

I loved it! I rarely play a game all the way to completion but I managed this one. Even with 2 1/2 kids I played this one through . The humor and the way the game world changes and revolves around the main character really helps this game. The dog was also a GREAT idea! It leaves more room on the screen for the action (less HUD) and also gives your character more, well, "character" because of the way they interact.

I also like that I can continue playing and complete all the side quests. I really want to shoot all those gargoyles!

    My only complaints:

-I don't like the game world much. I don't like the way the areas are separated. Having a large world like WoW would have been better. The carriage houses could have been kept and also the "fast travel" in the quests menu. It may just be a mental thing on my part, but having a single large world helps give a sense of being in the game more.

-The main character didn't act out during scenes. I know that his/her reaction would be based on their current alignment but I wouldn't think that'd be too hard to program in.

I took Magnum's tip at the end so I have all 3 ending achievements And since I choice the "goody two shoes" one I lost something, but I learned I can get it back in the Island expansion pack so it's all good.
