    FYI Pitbull front stand

For any of you that might buy the Pitbull front stand that goes up in the steering stem you have to remove or reposition the horn when using it.(This is on my CBR 600rr)
This may also go for the Vortex front stand to.I actually returned the Vortex and order the Pitbull to have the same problem with it putting pressure on the upper fairing and after calling Pitbulland them telling this all is fine now.

Do you have the correct pin for the front stand?

I bought the Trex stands for my triumph and found the welds to be pretty shoddy, i returned them and received pretty horrible customer service. Have pit bulls now and love them, spend the money on the better welds, specially if youre gonna keep your bike on stands through the winter

I have had the Pitbull stand for many years....you do need to mmake sure that you are using the correct pin. Last year's trackday, I somehow got either someone else's stand, because when I went to raise the front end, the nose sat too low and ended up cracking my front fairing.

Got the right pin and per Pitbull they said I had to remove the horn or it would sit on the upper. No longer have that bike with a horn my trackbike doesn't have one.So all is good now.

PitBull Stands are the absolute sturdiest I have ever seen.. they will last forever and have a great fit, usually?.. this is the first time I have heard about the horn issue. Hmm.. if you need a new pin I know Cyclegear has a little box full of various pins under the counter up front.. just have to ask for one.

I have used PitBull stands for years. Actually, gave away all my other stands since my first PitBull. Now, I have about 5 of them. They can't be beat! The guys at Pitbull were and are very helpful at the track when ever any one had an issue or needed a pin, etc. You owe it to your bike to get one, if you don't already have one. Oh, and by the way, we carry them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, PitBull is definately the way to go. I should own stock in them I have so much of their stuff.

    2 rear stands
    1 pin type front
    1 normal front
    2 trailer restraints
    1 set of the "jackstands"

You might pay a little more upfront but you know you are buying a lifetime product and if you ever sell them you can get a good percentage of your money back.

Motorcycling is not, of itself, inherently dangerous. It is, however, extremely unforgiving of inattention, ignorance, incompetence, or stupidity

Not on topic exactly but I also agree to get the Pit Bull stands. I have the eBay T-Rex stands and, while they are holding up just fine, you can tell the quality is not on par with Pit Bull.
