i own SVRacer. I came up with the use of trackdays as a way to promote the site. Even though the site is SV based (barely right now). I will not limit the type of bikes on track. Id like to make it enjoyable for all. Im pretty easy going and am always open to suggestions. So feel free to ask questions. Im also looking for some control riders as well. If anyone is interested. send me a email to daviid at svracer dot org with a brief bio and why you would should be selected to control ride.

    Well then WELCOME!

I will keep your dates in mind for a few of my days. Planning 14-16 track days for this year, so if it works in the schedule I will attempt to swing in to one of yours!

sounds great I think you will have a pretty good turnout for this.

What kinda of structure and number of bikes do you run?

Curious of this myself, we talking 3 groups? How many on the track at the same time, etc?

    ill be running 3 sessions

    Grouping:
All - Riders must attend a morning riders meeting

Advanced - Passing is allowed anywhere. Please be courteous in passing. This is not racing and passing within 3 ft of another rider is not neccessary. Please keep it to a minumum of 6 ft. "Stuffing" a rider will not be tolerated. We will handle this on a case-by-case basis.

Intermediate - No inside passing. You may pass outside anywhere on the track. This is not racing and passing within 3 ft of another rider is not neccessary. Please keep it to a minumum of 6 ft. "Stuffing" a rider will not be tolerated. We will handle this on a case-by-case basis.

Beginner - Passing on the outside of straights only. This is not racing and passing within 3 ft of another rider is not neccessary. Please keep it to a minumum of 6 ft. "Stuffing" a rider will not be tolerated. We will handle this on a case-by-case basis. Riders will need to attend a quick briefing on track riding.

Riders who violate these rules will be issued a warning, and will be asked to leave.
comparing to other tracks, i will be limiting to 40 riders a group max right now. after the may weekend i will adjust this as neccessary. i will also take a look at how other track day orgs are handling max riders as well. i do not want to have crowded track and i limiting to 40 riders will still (in theory) leave enough room for 330 ft of track space between riders.

I am sure I will be doing some of these days, if not all 4. really depends on what the schedule is for the other track days I will be doing.

but oh man oh man does it kick ass to have a killer track right up the road and for $165!!! I am use to spending $200 a day at Barber, plus drive time, food, tires and gas, those weekends usually cost me about $750.

I see that you require safety wire of the oil filter and drain plug. Is this for all grouping? My bike is wired, but I know there are quite a few on here that would need to be aware and take care of that little bit if is indeed required of all bikes.
