u would need taller gears for top speed that would be gering up...gearing down slows ur top speed and gives u more acceleration......but for ur question.....i think if u built the motor as in like a turbo busa and geared up u could do 250mph+ if u have to horse power to get ur revs to keep going up so it dont hit that aerodynamic wall n bog down

There's a lot more to going over 200 than power or gearing. I read an article about it in 2 Wheel Tuner, pretty interesting.

Basically, if you're not going to streamline it you're gonna need a shit ton of power and lighter wheels for less rolling resistance and a small/light rider. lol

As far as gearing over 200mph....gearing depends on how the bike is tuned so you don't run out of gear before RPM's or RPM's before gear.

Too tall and you might have problems getting up and going and you'll bog down trying to get it anwhere close to 200, too short and you'll be at redline and nowhere close to your mark.

That chart is just showing what your bike could potentially do ona dyno. It doesn't take into account weather or rolling resistance from the surface you're running on or wheels you use. It's not saying this is what you're bike will run if you use this gearing. It's mearly saying it's possible, it says nothing about probable.

For anymore info call myth busters and ask, see if we can get some bikes on the show. lol
