    Question Frame Sliders

Alright, for the second time I am replacing some pieces on my bike due to dropping it (minor damage, occured over a month ago) . I want to install some frame sliders to protect as much of this as possible. I have been told that Vortex is the way to go but I called Vortex and the indicated they do not make a slider to fit a Kawasaki Z750s. So is everyone's second recommendation?

Shogun. I have them on my bike.....few other here use them also. If they make one for your bike.....check with Cycle Gear on Hurstbourne Ln. before ordering online or something.

Sorry guys, no way on Shogun. Terrible quality, don't hold up, and if you buy them with brackets, you've got a great chance the brackets will vibrate causing the spool to shake off...eventually falling out of the bracket. All the sudden-no frame slider!

Here are a few links to some discussions...(I'm sure you could find a lot of this info just by googling it if you want to)

Obviously, this is hardly conclusive proof. But I can speak from personal experience. I lost my left side shogun frame slider after having it on for 3 months. I changed it out with woodcraft, and it's been damn near 2 years and counting now. Bottom line, stay away from Shogun!!!

I would say Shogun but I have had a set on order for 4 months now, you might have a hard time getting something from them.

I got ones for my bike, saved my butt twice... I got mine from Commonwealth when I bought my bike in 2005 from Commonwealth.
