Where does your name come from?

Looking through the member list, I was kind of curious where everybody got their name from.

Mine is kind of obvious. I wanted something that would be signify that I live on the north side of the river.

Wooo. . .I'll try and give a short(ish) version. . .My first real experiences on the internet were at my Grandmothers house around 1997-1998. She lived across the street from me and I had an email account on her computer. It was Kickaho@aol.com (not me anymore, so spam away). I've been Kickaho in some shape or form EVERWHERE that requires a username on the net. I've narrowed it down to pretty much here and ZX-10R.net (which was the inspiration for this site BTW) now though.

The name Kickaho came from the fact that I'm actually part American Indian. But I'm not all ate up with it and trying to be something I'm not. So you won't come to my house and find head-dresses and dream catchers and crap. In fact, instead of telling folks what tribe I really am descended from, I used to just jokingly say Kickaho or Slapaho Indian. Not that I'm ashamed of it. I just have met too many folks that find out they are .01% Indian and suddenly it's ALL they are about

BTW. . .moved to the Welcome section and Stuck the thread, as it's a good conversation starter

When I first got turned onto forums they were car forums. I have a 1997 Nissan and Nismo stands for Nissan Motorsports International, they make performance parts for Nissans. So I started out at 97nismo and I just kept it for all the bike forum too to keep myself from getting confused.

The only time I've heard it was on the movie Euro Trip when they were on the bus.
