Thumbs down Beware of 58 Cycle....

I posted this over on the Forum and thought it could help you guys out.....

A few months ago I ordered a pair (or what I thought was) of headlights that a glow ring around them. When the order showed up it was for only 1 lamp. $18 for one lamp but OK, my fault I didnt read throughly enough..... I order the exact same part number and the lamp that showed up put out a different color when installed. Not a problem, I'll call to get the return for a new one....

They were trying to charge me $5 to return their defective part. I explained to this chick, that if she went to Macy's and bought a shoe one day then bought the same shoe the next, but got a different one, that it is the sellers responsibility to get the customer the matching part. After talking to this btch that had a corn cobb is her ass, I tried to talk to a manager. No Go... She tells me that I could'nt talk to anyone else. At this point I freakin lost it and did'nt care I had over $40 in a pair of lights....

I'm always a calm natured guy but I was about to fly to VA, to the used car lot that this company is ran out of and let them have it. I filled with the BBB and found out they had 13 previous actions taken against them.

There was around $650 I had in my cart, but when they told me they "didnt care about losing a customer over $5," I was done. Honestly thats what they told me... I'm just trying to save you guys some time and trouble before you deal with this great customer service....

Serves me right for not going with the boys at McCoys the first time...

    That's some BS.

I've had decent experiences with Dennis Kirk, and EXCELLENT ones with newenough.com and could not recommend them enough.

I've had one experience with 58Cycle and it was decent.

But since they had sent me the right part to begin with I didn't go through any crap. Thanks for the heads-up.

Thats the one... And I'll remember that. I have just never had someone talk to me like that. Especially if your a distributor trying to make in todays market. Who knows, I guess they dont need the customers...

Whatever happened to "the customer is always right"? It's so rare to encounter that anymore that when you do, you feel like you've stepped into the Twilight Zone.

Is it solipsistic in here, or is it just me?

Thanks for the heads up. I've order from them once and got what I ordered. Customer Service has really went down hill over the past few years. IMO
