There is now an easy hack that makes it possible to watch any Youtube vid in the resolution it was originally uploaded in. Now I've only tested it on a few video's, but so far it's worked on all of them. Either way, all you have to do is add a simple bit of code to the end of ANY Youtube link. The bit of code is as follows:
&fmt=18
So instead of this:
You have this:Code:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R3F5LDrdhNo
It's that easy. Now the link example above is for a video I uploaded, which isn't a good example to watch because I always lowered the quality on the upload version anyway since Youtube butchers it. But a good example would be one that Hoosier uploaded a while back. Watch it a bit normal, then add the code above and check out the differenceCode:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R3F5LDrdhNo&fmt=18
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zIb4DDa6mME
You see the biggest difference when watched in the full screen mode BTW.
