    FULL RES YOUTUBE VIDS!!

There is now an easy hack that makes it possible to watch any Youtube vid in the resolution it was originally uploaded in. Now I've only tested it on a few video's, but so far it's worked on all of them. Either way, all you have to do is add a simple bit of code to the end of ANY Youtube link. The bit of code is as follows:

    &fmt=18

    So instead of this:
    Code:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R3F5LDrdhNo
    You have this:
    Code:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R3F5LDrdhNo&fmt=18
It's that easy. Now the link example above is for a video I uploaded, which isn't a good example to watch because I always lowered the quality on the upload version anyway since Youtube butchers it. But a good example would be one that Hoosier uploaded a while back. Watch it a bit normal, then add the code above and check out the difference

You see the biggest difference when watched in the full screen mode BTW.

To me it doesn't seem drastically better, just slightly.

I'm not seeing a dramatic difference, either, at least not in that particular video. It's the only one I've tried out, though.

Dress for the crash, not the ride. (Assuming you still have a ride.)
Is it solipsistic in here, or is it just me?
