This won't happen to me again because I know about R&D now but...
Two weeks ago I ordered a set of graves frame sliders through their website. They wouldn't ship the product because they said my address didn't match. I sent them my previous 2 addresses and the customer service number of my bank to verify. Over the weekend I replied to an email sent to me by them gave them the info and also added two other items so that my total order would be over 149.00 so I would qualify for free shipping. I stated in my email that I was adding these 2 items which should qualify me for free shipping.
I get home from work today and have received an email saying that free shipping is for web orders only. I called them and they had already processed and shipped my order. They said since I added the 2 extra items through email to my initial web order that didn't qualify for free shipping. I asked them to reconsider because I obviously went on and purchased additional items to receive free shipping. They said there was "nothing they could do about it". I feel rode hard and put up wet. They got over for me for $60 in extra sales and $15 in shipping. Their return policy is that you receive in-store credit minus a re-stocking fee.
I will never buy anything from them again and from their business ethics I would advise anyone else to purchase from one of the many other on-line parts retailers.
Kinda funny that the few threads in this section are about 58 cycle and now I'm putting one more.
