    Bearcamp. . .that's right, BEARCAMP!!

What would you get if Skyview and Mt. Elmira had an offspring? You'd get the newly repaved section of Bearcamp!! For those that don't know, Bearcamp is a road that ventures through a twisty section of the Jefferson County Forest. It used to keep up this crazy twisty adventure for all who dared go down it's one lane madness that started after you exited the "wooded section". Well, just out of the blue, I decided to go on a tour in the truck this morning and what did I find?? A TWO LANE, freshly paved MARVEL!! Trust me, the below image does nothing for it, you gotta see it to believe it.

Use GOOGLE MAPS to find you way there (middle of the page, North to South) BTW, this is like 6 minutes from my house. How cool is that?!?!

I went that way a couple of weeks ago, thats one smooth stretch of road at the new section. Not too far from Skyview if you make the right turns.

Nice. Will it work for another video spot?

Starting from the exit of the "forrest" all the way to where there was always that "school bus turn around" spot. If you remember where that was.

OHHHH YES!! Right smack in the middle of the Esses there is a spot for 1-2 cars to pull off. Also, when I say Esses, I mean like 9-10 switchbacks, back to back to back to back. . . . .

Also, the very best stretch of this road (guessing about 2 miles) has a perfect turn around spot at both ends. It's just BEGGING to get blasted by us

Makes me wish for spring all the more. (Or just a day of decent weather.)

Dress for the crash, not the ride. (Assuming you still have a ride.)
Is it solipsistic in here, or is it just me?

man i tore it up on the motard like 2 weeks ago. when it hit 78deg i thing. my aunt used to live right by their. the new road is awesome i usually start right at the bear camp/blevens gap side(cant think of the name of that road) then head towards the pendelton side(thats heading towards dixie. north to south direction) the road rocks. im not real fond of the one lane after the turnaround but ill hit it anyway.

The turn-around where it becomes one lane is where I. . .well. . . turn around. One lane roads freak me out when you can't see corner exits and 90% of the vehicles on said road are one ton pickups
