    Bike Cover: Cycle Shell

If your stuck without a garage like me or she wont let you pull the bike in the family room all winter, this is a hell of a cover. I have owned this one for 2 years now and it has held up better than any other cover I've seen. Just wanted to let you guys check it out. Let me know if you need anymore info on it it. It's called the Cycle Shell......

I went ahead and inserted the picts in a way that they'll be visible for you.

That's pretty awesome. A bike cover that can double as a tent .

How heavy's the base? I assume it's heavy enough to protect against wind and such. That used to be my biggest worry before I got a garage.

I looked into those. But I got the woman to let me park it in the kitchen this year.

"Honey, could you pass the ketchup? It's next to the bike."

I just thought of sump'n. You could probably "tent peg" that bad boy down during those heavy storms this spring.

I've seen them in just about every moto-rag I've ever seen. I think there downright brilliant. This is the closest I've come to seeing one in person though.

It's not in the way that much. It does make a nice center peice if you ask me.

Dress for the crash, not the ride. (Assuming you still have a ride.)
Is it solipsistic in here, or is it just me?

The one in the magz are called Cycle Shelters and their a little cheaper. They dont have the base that this does. The base actually stands up off the ground about an inch. It costs me about $400 shipped to the door. These are hand made out of Boulder, Co and they were really cool to deal with. They do come with stakes that can go through the base but I've never needed them. With my bike in it, it survived the 70mph winds we had last year. www.cycleshell.com
The best part is it never touches the bike, so if it starts rain and you pull up to the house, you dont have to wait to cool off.

My bad, I didn't realize it was different. Nor did I realize the others didn't have a base. Seems like without the attached base, the thing would blow right off.
