    Rockband for the PS2

Well we got it and we're having a blast. I had to force myself away from it tonight because of work tomorrow . DanvilleRedhead's kicking a$$ on the drums and I'm REALLY digging the wireless guitar!

The only things it doesn't have that the 360 has:
-No custom characters (not really a problem. Still has custom bands and names. Even on Solo)
-No downloadable content (sucks, but it's a PS2. It'd be kewl if they offered that option if you had a harddrive installed, but alas, they left us out)

Both the problems above could have been included for Harddrive owners but apparently they didn't put in the effort. Haven't tried the mic yet. I suck at it and DR would rather play the drums

I give it a big thumbs up! For people not getting a 2nd gen anytime soon I highly recommending it

Never played GH, but Game Informer says that GH is better than Rockband for (quote) "Serious Grinders". It's a blast for me though, and I'm still on the Easy setting.

    Around $160.

I haven't tried RockBand, but the boys got GHIII for Christmas for the Wii and it's a blast.

Dress for the crash, not the ride. (Assuming you still have a ride.)
Is it solipsistic in here, or is it just me?

I've played both GH3 and Rockband now (own Rockband) and I'd take RB over GH anyday. Mainly just because of the variety of the instruments. That, and it's WAY more fun if you actually have opportunities pop up when you can have enough folks over to whip out all 4 instruments.

I'm burned out on RB. I've played it for the past three days over a friends. Drums are fun. I'm on hard, that jump to expert on drums is crazy. =/
