    Highway 135 Indiana Salem-Nashville

Awesome curves!! Some quite technical and the last 35-45 miles. The state has basically killed all the fun from Palmyra north to Salem, after Salem it's ok to Brownstown, over on Hwy 50 a mile or two and then the fun begins. Stop in Story In and check out the haunted bed and breakfast. Make a day of it and hit 446 out of Bloomington, to 58 west to Bedford, then 450 west to Orleans, and back east on 150. Non-stop curves!

    Good elevation changes and scenery.

We did some of those roads earlier this year, and yes they are good. Another option is to continue up 135 to Bean Blossom and then take 45 to Bloomington. 446 is only fun over the Lake Monroe area, but 58 is decent...

Try 45 when you get some time, I thought it was much better than any of the areas on 135...

When we went up to Bloomington and back, 446 was a great road. We hit it on the way up, but on the way back we knew it a little so it really made for some fun.....

We didn't hit 446 when we went to Bloomington, if it's the same trip that I went with you. We went 39, 135, 45 to Bloomington... And reversed it on the way back...

i drove from salem to bloomington on 135 a few years back in a car, wishing i was on a motorcycle. last summer a few of us went from salem to one of the little towns that had a b&b to stop for food, then turned around. i used to live in salem, so i've been on a lot of roads around there. definately a good highway once you get past brownstown
