Those that were there know my weekend certainly didn't go as planned. I had a highside coming out of deception onto the back straight / tabletop in session 6 on Saturday. I came out with a broken right wrist and a broken foot. The good; they're both minor and no surgery required. Just a cast on my right arm and taped the two small toes together and prescribed to wear hard soled shoes.

I also (finally) got the bikes unloaded so I could assess the damage to the R6. At first glance, it's definitely repairable. Time for some upgrades! Pics to follow.

Thanks to all that helped at the track and reached out since the incident. Overall, all things considered, I'm doing great.

Damn man, glad you came out with only minor injuries. Hopefully you know what happened to avoid it in the future, the worst is not knowing what happened.

I'd say it was my tires weren't warmed up and/or too fast for conditions (me!). Or just plain rider error. No more street tires on the track for me.

I've had a moment or two there even on slicks with traction control and all that jazz. Mostly from being lazy and not transitioning my BP properly causing the bike to get out of shape as the pavement falls away there.

I might have had a moment or two there in the past where the R1 rear spun a bit, but nothing like this with the R6. I certainly couldn't tell you how my BP was as I don't remember, though that certainly could have been a factor in it as well. I recall thinking I was a little tired before the session, though at the time, I didn't think it was enough to skip the session. Hindsight is 20/20.
