    Shooo...75 miles and I'm cooked.

Booger bout killed me the last time we went to the Gap. I slept for a week.

I rode about 1100 miles for my “Saddle Sore 1000” certificate. Me and a friend rode from just east of Atlanta to just past New Orleans for lunch, and then came back. It was winter, so cold. I rode a VMax. No wind protection and stopping for gas every 110-120 miles. Gas stops kill time!
We did almost all interstate at around 80mph with all fuel , two meals, and one “ I’m too cold to go any further “ stops it took around 17 hours.
My VMax had engine case savers that doubled as a place to stretch out a leg, so I constantly rotated between the mid mount peg, rear passenger, and case saver. That rotation of my body moved the pressure points on my seat enough to keep butt pain at bay.

The only real pain was the next couple of days my throttle hand was sore and swollen. A throttle lock, or rocket would have been helpful, but keep in mind I was running 80 with zero wind protection in full winter weather gear ( lots of wind drag to fight).

It was definitely a memorable experience that I don’t regret.
