    Track days R healthy

As most of you know I am getting up in age. 51 to be exact and probably in the top 5 of oldest members. Anyway I donít eat healthy all the time or exercise I just keep moderately busy. Iím on a statin now but no BP medicine.
We tried a fun test at the track day Saturday @ Putnam. My wifey Danita checked my BP after the 2nd session. I was relaxed as I could be 150/90. A little high but about what itís been running at a checkup. Danita being a nurse was absolutely amazed after my next session. I took my leathers down , let her do her thing and she was shocked to read 142/84.
After the next session same thing happened. My numbers dropped. I was surprised and she was speechless.
Do more track days is what I learned. Lol. Has anyone else done this for fun?

Wow....not to many guys or gals have their own track side nurse. That is very cool.

As for age I feel your pain a bit. I am turning 57 this year and although I am in good health I can definitely feel the change. I don't have quite the energy or the strength that I did just a couple years ago. I don't care if I get wrinkles or lose my hair and begin to look old, I just don't want to feel old!! Did a 407 mile ride last week and it was a bit rough but I still enjoyed every mile.

i've never checked my blood pressure after a session but I've wanted to run a heart monitor and sync it to my camera to see what those pucker moments do to my heart rate.

Wow.....that first number is pretty low. I thought 120 over 80 was about normal.

120/80 is average or considered healthy. BP numbers are different just like people. On average you should keep a eye on it to see if it changes with age and diet.
