    Our Forbus Experience

So Sunday me and smoke had an impromptu trip to forbus, literally planned it in 2 hours and were headed that way. When we got there, we found out it is for sale for $150k if anyone is interested, but that still isn't the interesting part. After we sat around and ate, we sat outside for a minute talking to the old guys whittling big pieces down to little pieces of wood and they asked where we were from, when we told them, they said there is a group of guys that normally come down that way 4 or more times a year. We explained we were part of that group and that they probably know doug "he who talks a lot" so the owner called him.

I just wanna say, as a ride I enjoy making, and a place that I enjoy going....thanks. I'm glad we are a group of guys that don't put a bad taste in people's mouth about sportbikes. I knew claiming to be part of that group would not get us kicked off the porch and hated. I hope whoever takes over the store keeps The same kind of atmosphere and maybe even improve it. Offer more food/drink options and maybe some AC haha.

Never been. I've always wanted to make it but seems like it's always a fast paced trip. Might try this week to do it.

    I'm not slow just conservative.

I don't hate that it's for sale, just hope someone buys it and keeps it as a nice little store. It's a great stopping point for our ride and I would hate to see that go away. I'm sure the owners want to take the money from selling and just sit around and be lazy. Maybe they will come hang out on the porch too lol.

My pace is normally 60-70 the whole way lol. I don't blast straights or anything and I feel like 60-70 heading down there is smooth for our bikes.
