NCM claims another bone. Sucks to hear man. And +1 on the @Doc ; being a foot specialist, he can get you right if you don't have a dr already.

Dang hate to hear this Jeff, I just saw your bike at commonwealth last week when Chad was installing your new triples..... So besides the nasty ending did your front tire wear straighten out? I know you were fighting that.

I never did find out! I sat the first two sessions out to let the track dry out. I went out during the 3rd session to check out the track conditions, but I was only able to get two laps in before my quick shifter started to short out and causing random ignition cuts throughout the RPM range. I limped the bike to the pits and managed to jimmy rig a solution. I went out again to test the QS. I was on my second lap when ole boy decided to park it in front of me. Hopefully I didn't ruin my $800 triple clamps with 4 laps on them.

Thank you sir! Well considering I can put any weight on my foot for 10 weeks I might be looking at next October!

Sucks to hear about this. Chad texted me the other night after you told him about it (if you haven't made the connection, I'm the Dave that's been at Commonwealth and we've talked a few times). I've had screws in an ankle before, the rehab after the 10 weeks is the bad part, after that much time off it you will loose so much muscle tone it swells like crazy with fluid accumulation once the cast comes off.

Motorcycling is not, of itself, inherently dangerous. It is, however, extremely unforgiving of inattention, ignorance, incompetence, or stupidity
