I've seen some pretty nice custom weights people have made from 4" PVC with eye bolts.

If you're hanging out under it after dark, an LED light up inside of a drywall bucket hung from the peak makes a great lantern. Nice diffused lighting and any bugs will go up inside the bucket to the light and kinda stay in the bucket...
We've got a couple 20# dumbbells, some 10 or 15# and I believe some weight plates. That's likely what we'll take.

Don't overlook using stuff you will already be taking. Cooler full of drinks and ice, toolbox, air tank or compressor, etc. That way you are not weighed down with too much extra shit.

We use the gas can, that normally isn't as affective by the end of the day though

If the dumbbell weights could fit around the legs and slide down to the bottom, that would be perfect to get them out of the way.

People always say to man up and grow some balls, balls are vulnerable.....man up and grow a vagina, those things can take a pounding!!

The canopy itself worked great for the track day. The bag already has a hole in it though. We haven't had to use it again so I'm not sure how it'll be for the long term.

Oh, and the really sad part is, for $10 less than the price of the canopy, we could've had a last-minute garage. In fact, I think they ended up giving it away. We were already set up though, so it was pointless to take advantage of that deal.
