    bikes for sale? 2500$ish

    anything floating around on the cheaper side? 2500$ish a friend is looking for a 600cc or up. he isnt partial to manufacturer. just something that isnt a project because he doesnt do wrenches. i know its a tight budget but thought id ask.

    Should be able to find a 03-04 CBR600rr, R6, or GSXR 600 for that price range. Out of all of those, I would definitely go R6, the other two are pretty heavy in those years, the R6 will be most nimble in the turns. Yamaha actually continued to make the R6 very similar for years after. I would stay 03+, it should be possible, it just may have some cosmetic flaws.

    found him an 05 750. went a little over budget, but he looks pretty happy.

    Not a bad starter bike, I had a 600 in the same year. It was a pig in the turns but GSXR's balance really well on one wheel

    Take it to the Englishman and get the rear shimmed and suspension set up. He had the same trackbike so I'm sure he knows it even better than most.
