I wear 13... 48/49 boots, I have wide feet, and I would bet my calves are larger than yours...

I wear a 48 A* SuperTech, and as mentioned, they are tight for the first 10 rides. To the point I can barely even get them zipped by myself. I actually took a metal hanger and used it as a zipper pull to get the zipper up over my leathers, wiggling my feet around to flex my calf.

I loved my Sidi boots, wore a 49 in those, and they have adjustments for the calves as well to make them larger, which I would have out fully. But the zippers broke twice, and I replaced the soles. I am going to take them to a boot place and get them to replace the zippers again, because I really like them...

I am still wearing my SuperTech boots, and have an identical pair that I got on closeouts waiting to break in and wear once these bite the dust.

Seriously though, I have had major problems finding boots that fit my calves, most I can't get zipped up without leathers... let alone with leathers, socks, and or some type of wicking liner. If I ever had leathers made again, I'd have them made to go over the boots... that would help a little bit...

13, yes. Some shoes 13 EE (wide), which is the case of most dress shoes. But the biggest issue for me is my calves. When I got the 48 size A* boot, which was/is the widest they offer, and I did have issues with zipping the boot, especially with leathers. Like I said, I either had help, or I used a "tool" to pull up the zippers. After a good dozen+ rides, they finally broke in enough to zip easily.

The new ones I am back to either having help, or using a zipper pull helper, like a spring puller.

Still, only ones I have gotten to work with the type of protection I want from race boots are the A* in 48. I had to wear a 49 in Sidi to get comparable fit.
