    My new leathers

Ok y'all....I got my new Barnicle Bill leathers yesterday. I have not ridden in them yet but I can tell you this...they are expertly put together with very high quality materials. They might lack some of the bumps and patches of the mainstream leathers but as far as fit and finish there is nothing of any better quality.

They DID come at a pretty high price. But actually as far as custom leathers go they are pretty danged reasonable. If you go to Vanson or something like that you would easily pay twice what I paid. Plus Bill is a hoot...such a nice guy.

All the seams are double stitched AND glued so I have no fear of anything coming apart if (when) I fall again. Armour is top notch. The zippers are the best zippers I have EVER seen. I am so used to plastic zippers I forgot how nice real metal zippers are.

I am looking forward to a ride to see how these things are gonna work!

Leathers look real nice. Almost looks like an arrow on the front. I was wondering where the "I'm with stupid" was written.

Sam a couple of things I figure out on my first ride..... The leather extensions on the zippers need to come off, they flap around and can smack against you, or make noise. The zippers are good (long) enough not to need them, even with gloves on.

The length of leather on the snaps that cover the zippers needs to be FAR shorter. Mine smacked my neck when I tucked, and hit against the helmet. I have since cut mine shorter.

It's hard to pee when wearing the one piece, basically you need to take it off to go. I had a close call and almost peed on the flap...

The leather loosens up some after the first ride and become even more comfortable...

nice leathers, I keep thinking star trek for some reason, but congrats.

its not hard to pee with a full suit on, if you have enough rope to pull ...ha

now, taking a crap, its just not going to happen. he really should start making suits with a double zipper in the back too.

I'll let you be the first to wear leathers with a flap in the back cause I don't want to be the butt of all the gay jokes you're gonna hear while you're wearing them. That would be worse than all the hell munky got for wearing the leather pants.
