    Rules for Putnam Park

    Garage rules

    • Fuel containers are not allowed inside garages.
    • Vehicles may not be fueled inside garages.
    • no smoking permitted inside garages.
    • extension cords may not be run outside garages.
    • NO PARKING ON THE CONCRETE/ASPHALT APRON SURROUNDING THE GARAGES.
    • Oil dry is available at each end of the garages. If a vehicle spills fluid, please make sure that the oil dry is put down and a Putnam Park rep has been notified to assist if required.
    • At the end of each day, please turn off fans, close and lock walk-thru and overhead doors.
    • The group is responsible for making sure the garages are left in the condition they were in at the beginning of the event. Failure to clean up will result in additional charges.

There are twenty 17’ X 20’ bays that the club may use as they see fit (rent, give away, use for instructors, etc.). Each bay has overhead lighting, ceiling fans, and two double electrical outlets.

The twenty garages are organized as follows: 1-10A on the North (closest to track) side of the building, going from right to left. The ‘B’ side is directly across from the corresponding ‘A’ garage bays. The walk-thru doors for each garage is clearly marked, and you can probably see them from the tower.

    Attachment 20082Attachment 20083

The ‘A’ & ‘B’ bays are open to each other. Each bay is 17’ X 20’, so you can either rent them as 10 ‘A’ garage bays and 10 ‘B’ bays for twenty total, or 10 A & B two car bays. That is up to each group. There is plenty of access for vehicles from both the ‘A’ & ‘B’ sides (please see aerial photo), so there is no issue with having to drive thru one or the other.

There is no parking on the concrete or asphalt aprons around the garages. This area is meant for traffic into and out of the garages only.

Bays will be picked in order of purchase

You plug them into the the electrical outlets in your bay. And to fuel your bike, you pull out and gas up. Easy as pie!

They dont want people runnong cords to people NOT in the bays.....you can run the cotds in thr bays for your own equipment.

As far as fueling goes, they dont want any fumes or spillage in tge bays. Some of the race fuels are very flammable and give off a ton of fumes.
