Anyone that rides this carelessly in traffic putting another persons body/life at risk should have any and all rights to operate a vehicle revoked. Just as cmurphy said....there was plenty of open lane and no reason to be splitting cars. Id like to see a follow up story on this. I hope the girl sues the hell out of this dumbass!

It seems to me that trying to run from the police on a bike would force you to push your limits and it's likely that you would not be thinking clearly which would make the result often end in a possibly fatal accident. I am surprised that police chase bikers when they run because I would think that the increased risk of injury and fatality to the biker and other motorists is greatly increased. On the same note there must be a way to punish those who break the law so I don't know what kind of solution works in the best interest of the state and the citizens. Personally I am just going to take my ticket and call it a day, a few hundred dollar ticket is something I can deal with, totaling my bike and hurting myself and others is something that I do not wish to experience. Of course I also do not ever hit the triple digits so it's not that big a deal for me I guess lol.

If I'm man enough to do the crime, I'll be man enough to pay the price. I make my decisions when I'm out and if I'm being dumb and get caught, so be it. A day or two in jail and having to get my bike out of impound worst case is still a billion times better than being dead.

Wonder why bikers have a bad rep. The handful of idiots make the rest look bad... well the same goes for anything else in the world. A few irresponsible people in a group often mess it up for the others. Glad both were ok though.
