I think this happens to everyone I know that works in a factory. I always think my phone is ringing, unless it actually is.

Ditto. I almost never hear/feel it when it's the real thing, while I'm at work.

the pipe decides when you leave. you arent the one to decide when to put it down.

Yep, I have the same thing happen from time to time. It's usually when I'm working and there is always loud noises around while at work.
