phantom cell phone ring

i keep my cell phone in my pants pocket and every once in a while, I think my cell phone is vibrating/ringing. i keep thinking that with keeping my cell phone in my pocket has some how caused nerve damage.

Does anyone else have this happen to them?

I think this happens to everyone I know that works in a factory. I always think my phone is ringing, unless it actually is.

Yes I do. I keep mine on my hip 90% of the time. I will feel it vibrate, and grab it to find no E-Mail, TXT Message, or Missed call. It's worse when your at work or somewhere where it's loud because you know you will never hear it. So you mentally tell yourself to be more sensitive to the vibrations from it. Well I guess your mind decides it's going to Troll you every so often.

it used to happen to me alot, but not so much anymore. occasionally i will get a strange cramp in my right leg around the area my phone sits, and since im a paranoid conspiracy theorist i automatically assume either caner, or the government is tracking me through my phone and the ship they installed last time i was in the hospital. but really its just humans natural instinct to desperately want to be popular.
