    Riding at night

I used to ride at night a lot when I first started riding, but riding curvy back roads was always hindered by the lack of light.

The high beams on my bike don't light the road far enough ahead for me when even riding the speed limit. I was thinking of finding some small but bright lights that I could mount to come on when I turned on the high beams. I want something that is very discrete.

The lights would practically have to point upward around 45 degrees to be able to light the road when the bike is at full lean.

    any thoughts or ideas?

Buy you a new BMW 1600 GT six with the OPTIONAL headlight. Follows the road as you lean, can be had for around 20 large. Of course there may be cheaper ways to go but its fun to dream.

i hate nighttime riding. I do know a few years ago, I upgraded my heads to HID and its was sick the difference! Brian's are bright even in the daytime.

I don't ride at night unless it was to work or we got caught out on a ride and it got dark before we got home.

I'm with stack. Lights on your helmet.

I hear some of the deals gap locals ride the dragon at night.

They make hid kits that mount to your helmet. The baja racers wear them.

the only issue i have with the HID's is that they are blinding to other motorists when using low beams.
