    Canyon Dancer and Straps..........

What what...... I think Railing is tired of me borrowing all his straps, so Id better get some of my own......

Anyone have one of the old skool Canyon Dancers (the ones without the plastic cups)?

The straps I deal with are 3"s thick and dont work too well.... Who has some good deals on some ratchet straps also? Used / New, I dont care, as long as they hold up a sweet ass Yamaha.

Get some of these instead, much easier on the grips/control pods and work great: http://stores.sportbiketrackgear.com/Detail.bok?no=20

Those are sweet Dave.... If no one has a used canyon Ill pick one of those up for sure.

Thats the reason I like the old style, I but them up right against the clip on and it doesnt mess up the grip. The plastic cups on the new ones scratch my bar ends.........

I have one you can use for ummmmmm. Well until I need to borrow it. I have went with 2 Pit-Bull Restraint Systems in the trailer. I actually have 2 old style CD's at my house. One is mine and one is JBalls. I don't want to sell it cause I may need it someday, but you can use it all you want until I need it. I'll bring it with me Saturday.

I use straps from Home Depot, Wal-Mart, or wherever. Just look at the ratchet handle and the load ratings. The higher the Load rating the better the ratchet and straps. I have never broke the higher priced higher rating straps from Home Depot. I ratchet down some big shit with them on the farm all the time. Hell 2 weekends ago I took one of the Cheaper straps down to Ramsey and ratcheted a broken Disc Gang on the Turbo Till up and drove it all the way home with it holding it.
