    Bell star series input???? Review

Anyone here ever use the bell star series helmets? I found one I like but not sure about pros and cons. I did watch Sportbike track gears review and it sounds likes very good track helmet but they don't tell the cons of the helmet.

Well, guess I'll be the first here to review it once I get mine ordered. Either getting the speed freak or the cerwinski. I would post pics but my laptop is at toshitty getting a new hard drive.

Reason I thought about getting a bell was the looks of the speed freak and we also found Paula a nice new bell that matches her jacket and new boots, and watched the review videos on the bell helmets. I really wanna hear something bad about them before I spend the cheese for one of them pricy bastards.

I am seriously considering a new Bell helmet. The RS-1 looks like a lot of bang for the buck. Really like the Arai helmets I have owned, but their prices have become too high considering the competition. Have heard nothing but good about the new Bell helmets.

I just did a lot of researching shopping around for a new helmet and I did look into the Bell helmets. I dont recall reading ANY bad reviews on them anywhere I looked and the only reason I stayed with Scorpion was the price factor. I had a hard enough time shelling out the $230 on the new Scorpion I just cant see spending the $400+ on the few Bell helmets that caught my eye.

Same here. I have a Arai, and a Scorpion. I love my $100 Scorpion EXO 400 (got it on sale) as much if not more than my Arai. The thing I love about the Scorpions is all their models have removable, and replaceable liners. My Arai's isn't removable. I know the even more expensive Arai models have removable liners, but mine doesn't. I got the EXO 1100 after trying on Danhor's EXO 1000 last year. The 1000 was as comfortable if not more comfortable than my Arai. Plus the EXO 1100 has inflatable cheek pads for a custom fit. Also like Morbid said they have the drop down inner visor which is just bad ass.

I was going to get another Arai as I haven't had any issues with mine. I wanted the Corsair V like Railing wears, but realized I could get a EXO 1100 be happy with it, and still buy a set of race tires for less money than buying a Corsair V.

For the money your dishing out for them I would make sure Visor are reasonably priced, and readily available. I would also make sure the liner is removable. You want to be able wash it, I picked up a funk in my Arai because the liner isn't removable. Just my thoughts. After have one helmet with a removable liner, and one with out. I will never buy another one with out.
