A friend of mine got his bike, ordered his gear, and went on a ride without it. He crashed into a dog wearing only a helmet, and has had several shoulder surgeries since.
His jacket arrived on the front porch the next day. I thought his wife was going to KILL the mailman.

I ran over a lasie dog one time in my semi delivering bakery products to the lady's house out in the countryand her poor kids saw it all. Did I feel bad? Hell no,keep the damn thing on a leash and don't let it lay under my truck.
Hope rider recovers fast.

Damn! Not that the downed rider didn't know this but, for others that may not know, you gotta slow down and then speed up abruptly when a dog is running at you. It throws off their intercepting line.

Damn that sucks..... I cant believe we dont hear more of this with the thousands of dogs that have ran after us over the years.
Good to hear he will ride again...... Sorry but RIP mini Lassie is kinda funny.
