Anatomy of a rolling low side

It takes you back across the race line placing you between your bike and the traffic behind you. Kinda like a blacksmith working a piece of metal over an anvil.

Scary how much that reminds me of Super Sic's crash...except he was going much faster.

I think that's his point. I am more interested to understand why he does not slid off the road? Because he hangs on to his bike? I know that during my low-side I slid across the road into the grass....

    Holy Shit!

I've watched your original crash video many times, but I never saw the pictures and put into my head that he crossed back over. From the original video, it looks like he went off on the outside of the turn. I had no clue he ended up at the inside!

That's my guess. Being pinned partially under leaves the bike just high enough to stay in contact with the ground. If you let go, will it always raise the tire off the pavement?

And apparantly the riders we had just passed had enough time to evade.

When i watched Sic's crash thats all i could think of. Thanks for not running me over. Yes im very sorry for his families loss but it opened my eyes to the fact that it almost happened to me. I know not as fast...but still scary.
