    it's official, turn 5 @Barber hates SV's...

yep, it's official, Turn 5 hates SV's!!! lol
    i still don't really know how/why i crashed, it's an SV forcrisakes!!
the only thing i can figger is that the rear got on a seamsnake and let go...i wasn't doing anything different than the 1st 3 sessions..i did walk to the wambulance[us129 got pix], had my leathers all unzipped and stuff so at least they didn't cut them off!! but, they DID cut my undies and the Starter shirt off tho!! lol bike wasn't really hurt..bent the bars[not the Tuono's], ground the Motoslider a bit, finished off the rh rearset* and somehow lost the rad cap!!...
and yeah, if yer gonna do something...8 broken and 2 dislodged ribs [10 total], supposedly the scapula is one of the hardest bones to break and i did it inside and outside, fairly clean clavicle break, oh and 11 hour surgery!! no wonder i lost a 'day'...my daughters came down for moral support and to ragggg me a bit...they want me on a Vespa!! hmmmm, 3wheel 5hundo would be cool...and i promised them no more 'big bike' trackdays, the Tard and cart tracks only!!
now the really weird...after 'smoothing' the right side of my HJC FS15Carbon, seems my nearsightedness has gone away!!! for real!!
i only had a wee bit-o-rash on the knuckle of my rh pinkie finger...the difference between a 'sport' glove[ A*SP2] and 'racing' glove [A*GPpro] was/is the way the pinkie is wrapped/tied..had the GPpro's for the first 3 sessions and were getting a little damp so, i used the SP2's then..
*got f/uppd when the bike FELL OFF the trailer about a mile from the house on the way to the LSB trackday at Putnam over Labor day weekend!!!
and, at least it was at the track as opposed to the backwoods...another reason for just a 6-7tenths riding on the road!!!
all in all, if chicks really do dig scars, i'll be a hit at the pool next year...the angel wing scars are pretty sick...

ok, i'll be the first...dick in the dirt, downed dick, broke dick, etc...

only hurts to laffff...lol ooohhoo lol

the only vid so far...i'm the last in line of the 'fast' group, slow 'tire warmer' lap, then it was ON... about 9 mins into the vid all he got was me on the ground and the SV about 40' in front...my bud Todddddddd [also on an SV]passed the camera bike into turn 1, Todddd was on the inside and he wanted to STOP as i was just layin there...

Hey now! I've crashed many an SV. Or rather, the same SV many times!

Like I said on AFJ, I'm glad you are okay. And you don't have to ride, but you are still coming to the track days when I go.

Oh, and I totally should have stolen the parts of your bike. They'd look good on mine!

Sorry to hear. I have had some scary moments at Barber, but luckily have met the pavement there. Heal up quick.
