Although we don't talk about it much, we do have a Track Day Committee that discusses all the details of the track day. Planning, helping, coordinating, etc. We try to bring new blood in each year, and we have ONE opening on the committee for a volunteer.
Only one requirement:
1. You must have ridden at least one track day (not necessarily an LSB track day). This is because we want you to have at least a little understanding of what's going on.
What this position entails:
1. You will have access to the Track Day Committee area for online discussion.
2. You will be apart of the group that plans all the details about the 2012 LSB Track Day (location, schedule of the day, etc).
3. You will be volunteering to help at the 2012 track day, even if you don't plan on riding (registration, tech inspection, coordinating, etc.).
4. Since you are the new guy, you buy lunch... for everyone attending the track day... and the track staff... and the control riders.
5. You get all the prestige the position entails, which is a pat on the back.
6. Item 4 is a joke.
7. Item 5 is also a joke, it's most likely a handshake, or a "ata' boy, good job", or a pat on the butt from Cheetah, because he likes that kind of stuff.
If you would like to volunteer, please post up in this thread and we will compile a list, then randomly select someone to help. We will probably be selecting sometime in the first couple weeks of October.
