    Corvette Museum’s Motorsports Park Project

The folks behind the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green are working on building a motor sports park. Plans are to construct the facility in phases as funds become available. The layout of the track will include some notable features from other tracks:

Le Mans circuit Mulsanne straight and turn combo (straight is not full length)
    Le Mans circuit Porsche curves
    Nurburgring Karussell Corner

All cars, motorcycles, car clubs and related events will be welcome to use the Park.

Variable configurations for auto cross and wet/dry skid pad area.

If / when sufficient funds become available other possible features include a second road course, a drag strip, a karting track, garages, condos, classrooms, fueling station, track store and concessions.

The effort to secure funds for building the park kicked into high gear this past May.

The photos show possible construction phases. It should be noted that these plans may be modified as the project progresses.

Provisional 2012 MotoGP calendar has the U.S. GP @ Laguna Seca on 29 July & the Indianapolis GP @ Indianapolis on 19 August as of September 15th.

The new Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas, will host a MotoGP from 2013, and for the following 10 years afterwards. The track is still under construction and is expected to be completed in June 2012.

I know its going down for sure, I was just saying we are always hearing about all these tracks and none of them ever get built.

I still cant believe bluegrass has come so far and they cant finish it up.
