...So do I need to race to keep my license current for next year?
The joy of success is increased by the struggle along the way.

Following what danhor said, my WERA license expired September 24th, the day of my last race. Would I have to be current on that license to race with you all. I would love to get one more in before winter but every buck counts.

Id say that depends on the tire you're running.

I agree, depends on the tires, knowing you, you will be running DOT race tires, and if so, I would still have a set of warmers for the bike.

If it's cool, 40-60 degrees, put the warmers on to get them to temp, and set the pressure, then when you come in after the first session, put the warmers on, but don't plug them in until about 20-25 minutes before the session, they will retain some heat with just the warmers on, but won't bake. If it gets above 60, then run them as normal. If you have warmers with a "warm" setting, use that when you put the warmers on, and then run them without the heat until above 60ish...

they are not a priority at all. the main purpose of warmers it to keep the tires from going through heat cycles. yes they do hel for that first lap or 2. but as long as you take the first lap or 2 at a easy pace you will be fine
