Somebody made a lot of money that day. It was a mad house yet very organized and very few crashes.

yea the club did ok but didnt make what I would call alot.Plus the MCRA is no for profit. as long as we keep enough to keep putting events on,thats all that matters. any extra we normally send dontate to stuff like the airfence fund, red flag,ect... theres alot of expense to a track day. figure on average it cost 12K per day to run. thats track rental, staff, insurance, and the ambalance`s. and we always carry 2 on hand. some clubs only use one. Also there are differnt levels on emt you can get believe it or not and we always have one that is capible of a life support situation.

    That wasn't a dig.

I know your insurance is more than a normal track day because it's a racing event and you have a lot of staff on hand. I think you had at least 3 corner workers per station that weren't normal Putnam employees.

Never the less it was far from a brake even afair. There is nothing wrong with that whatsoever and I'm glad the org is thriving. I think they should drop the grid fee to entice more participation.
