    Held's Thrux series gloves Review

The gloves are Held's intro priced glove the Thrux size large black in color. I say intro as these are under $170. The Phantom series gloves are priced between $200 and $300. I have wanted a pair of Held's, but they were just out of my budget range until I found these.

I purchased these to replace the Shitty A* SP2's I had. I got them from STG.

These gloves are the Freaking TITS. As soon as I put them on I knew I was in love. They were comfy straight out of the package. I'm sure they will break in a little, but they don't need to as they feel great. This is the first pair of gloves that I have owned that my fingers actually fit the fingers. No excess material at the end of each finger like my other gloves in the same size had.

I have only used them at the track day, but they are fantastic. Ventilation is nice better than my previous gloves. The straps are easy to use. The only complaint I have is they are a pain in the ass to get on when your hands are damp from sweat. The wrist area is a little tight on the hand when trying to pull them on, but once they are on they fit like a well ummm a Glove.

Here's a pic of the Thrux Glove.

I used the sizing chart on STG, and ordered what it recommended. Fit perfectly. I know I have only worn them once, and time will tell everything, but as of right now. I am a Held gloves user, and will continue to be.

I bought a pair of these a couple years ago. Easily my favorite glove.

The fit is spot on with no bunching of material on the grips. Excellent feel for the controls with the kangaroo leather. The fact that they require a bit of a tug to remove just means that they will stay on your hand securely in the event of a fall.

I also bought a Held one peice leather suit this year. The fit and construction are top drawer.

2003 Honda VFR......Staintune exhaust, PCIII , Helibars, Sargent seat, Penske rear shock, Traxxion front forks, Pazzo levers, Speedohealer and Ventura luggage for the occasional trip.

2007 Honda CBR 600 RR.......Carrozzeria wheels, Spiegler brake lines, R&G frame sliders, Puig screen, Pazzo levers.

I have a set of Held Ninja's- the low end gloves that are not made in Germany, but inspected there for quality. Even those are extremely comfortable and have 'held' up to a wreck in turn 10 with just one blown seam. My next pair will be probably be yours.

Dude, I'm half Puerto Rican. I'll either take them when you aren't looking, or take them at knifepoint.

I have this same exact pair of gloves for about a season now. They have been my favorite so far. Good choice brad..! They held up well in a crash. I've been leaning now towards the knox handroid for my new set. I tried the one Sam (step below the handroid) had a couple weeks ago and those felt great also. I could only imagine the handroid feels just as good. I'm in no hurry for the knox though, as i'm still lovin Thrux..

    Congrats Brad.!

Yeah, I tried on Jess' Knox Handroids (I have girly hands), and they felt pretty damn good too.
