I haven't seen an official announcement yet, but you can already buy tickets for 2012 MGP over at the IMS site!

We called about next years tickets and they told me they are waiting on a contract to be signed. I've got my fingers crossed just in case.

I heard that there was a possibility that it will be held elsewhere next year... Rumors about the new track in Austin???

Not a rumor. It's being built now. The name is Circuit of the Americas. Supposed to be finished by summer of 2012. They want to run F1 there....along with MotoGP.

MotoGP won't be in Austin til 2013 according to one write up. Dorna (company that markets and runs MotoGP) is rumored to bepushing for 3 events here in the states since we have such a large bike market. So, hopefully they will get next years contract signed asap and continue for the following years! P.S. If we get it next year at Indy again, Southwest Vista reserved seats are killer!!

I'm there as well. My brother in law lives in Dripping Springs, TX (bout 10 miles from Austin). Austin is a really cool city so it should be a great gig.
