I know we have a hand full of amateur photographers on here. Post up your shots and tell us a little about them. I think we all could learn from each other.

    I'll start.

I took this a couple days ago in Watkins Glen

Bounced the flash off the cave wall behind me.

I took this one in my driveway with an HTC EVO 4G. I had to adjust the garage security light because the flash would wash out the bike. I also had to turn the blue-ish porch light on so the camera would balance the color just right. I love cell phone photography.

This one is from years ago. More about the statement than any sort of special lighting or setup. Rebel XSi no flash, auto focus.

This is a shot of jballs. I had just gotten my new 100m Macro lens and I was demonstrating the use of bounce flash to him. Just a cool shot, no editing done to it.

I will have to dig up some of my others later.

@Danhor- Oddly enough the only thing I did was crop it a little and bump the orange. Other than that it's SOOC-

    Thanks!

Anyone know what causes the "flair" around the lights? I just noticed that Doug's pic has some lights in his night shot but they they don't look the same as the lights in mine.
