    What is the point?
If you use those then you can't take off the front wheel because you can't remove the front axle

They just help to protect all your goodies up front. Im sure its just a bolt to get them on and off. Maybe they work like the compression bar ends?

They are not sliders. They are spools.

    Spools are not for protection.

My point is, if you have them on and lift you front end, you will not be able to take off your tire.

    Fork or headstands are better.

They actually are sliders with spools built in.. I would only want them to protect in a bad get off... I perfer the head lift stands as well...
