    Scorpion EX400 review

For the price, the Scorpion ex400, is a good deal. I bought this one for around 150 on clearance. I needed a new helmet since my Arai's were getting up there in age.

The cheek pads are pretty tight, even after a year of use, but better to be snug, than loose.

The sound levels are pretty high, which can get pretty annoying on long rides.

Also, I've had issues with the plastic vents breaking. They aren't very durable, and I'm generally pretty easy with my helmet.

Overall....the helmet is a pretty good helmet for the money and it doesn't break the bank.

So what you're saying is it's cheap.

Ive had mine for a little over 3 years and it still looks new. No issues at all with anything coming apart on it. Tragic had some similar issues though with his EXO-1000 series with pieces popping off.

You can get different sized cheek pads for better fitment. I have 2 of em I got on closeout. Not nearly as plush as my old Shoei but a heck of a lot cheaper.

I have a 700 series I got 5 years ago and its still going strong, however the non-fogging shield has never been fog free for me. I've replaced it 4 times and they are all the same. All in all though I like it.

I just ordered a EXO-400 SCAR 3XL from Motorcyclegear.com (formally Newenough.com) and I've yet to try it on. I'll break it in and let you know how it goes. My current helmet is a HJC CL-15 3XL.

I ordered 2 of 'em for Brenda and I and rode with them for the first time today. I outfitted them with Midland Bluetooth communicator/intercoms. So far so good.
