The L loop for beginning riders

    All,

This route is what I used to run when I first started riding (before I joined LSB) and it is a pretty good ride for beginners needing something mildly technical and a little scenic. The whole route varies a few hours depending on your pace and number of stops.

I recommend meeting up at the Speedway across from the Summit and going from there.

Not bad I think Chris and a few others ride that same area. Lots of gravel through JC forest and brooks area.

I used to drive out in that area (Covered Bridge, Sleepy Hollow, Rose Island Rd, etc) all the time. Nice scenery and definitely some techincal areas to practice heel-toeing and late braking in the car. Will definitely be riding that loop when it warms up a bit.

I like the layout of this route....Seeing as how we live down here in Btown, I would prolly extend it to meet me closer to home....Oh Em Gee! Cannot wait to ride again!

I just looked over the route turn-by-turn and I'm REALLY looking forward to riding this loop. I'm already familiar with the route from the start all the way until the end of Thixton. Only somewhat familiar with it from there on. Can't wait for some considstently good weather to try it out!

Nice route WL........ This is one you dont want to hit those blazing speeds on thou. I would make sure to keep it around the speed limit.

That definitely works for me. I'm not on a true sportbike as it is... more of a sport-standard... and still very much working on my skills.

One of the reasons why I went ahead and posted this route up is because it is a slower route and you really can't do break neck speeds on most parts. The other good thing about this route is that you can do it in a single tank and be home within a 15-30 minutes at anypoint of the route.

Thx, I'll keep that in mind next time I do that part of the route.

Just out of curiosity, how long a ride is this from start to finish?
