My spedo stops at 189 but the bike keeps accelerating to the rev limiter in 6th. I did the math based on the RPMs and it would indicate 202 at the top end of 6th. I knew it was complete BS so I checked it with a gps and my bike tops out at 172. I'm guessing with stock gearing it would be in the 180 range just like your bike.![]()
The joy of success is increased by the struggle along the way.
idk, according to the speedohealer dialed in on a dyno, 2009 Corvette speedometer, and a Diablo Trinity Sport Tuner, its close to 200mph...But what do i know.
take your gearing along with rpm and tire diameter and you can calculate speed

I was interested in doing the exact same thing as you are attempting with the exact same bike using a turbo.
In stock configuration the 1000 already lifts the front end. With nitrous it will wheelie even more and likely loop with a heavy throttle hand. Neither is efficient in getting additional horsepower to the road.
If you accept the notion that Suzuki engineers optimized the various performance characteristics of the GSXR then you must realize that to alter one parameter (acceleration) will impact the others (front end loading). It is a given that increasing the wheelbase, lowering, weighing the front end, etc., will have an impact on how the bike handles in the curves. In order to safely use the increased power that NOZ offers you must alter the chassis dynamics.
Your ambitions are taking you into a very specialized field. I would encourage you to hook up with accomplished drag racers and glean knowledge from them. They know the ins and outs of rapid acceleration.
An adrenaline rush is addictive. Once you experience what 20-40 shots give a few times you’ll be wanting more and more. Will your bike be able to handle it safely?
My solution is to have two bikes: One has white knuckle acceleration. The other kicks in the twisties. Both are street licensed.
I hope you succeed. 200 mph is a lofty mark. Do it right and be safe!
A big shout out to you for serving in our military. Thank you!!

Thanks for the info. Im getting it done at Fun For All in Elizebethtown, Ky by Corey who also dose al there dyno tuning and so forth if anyone is interrested. He builds some of the baddest drag bikes ive ever seen and has 2 busa on his showroom floor no with turbos and and 500whp. After talking with him for a few hours ive came to the conclusion that if used correctly(gears 3-6) it would be controllable and a pretty efficient way of adding some power. I also will be lowering the bike a little.
I have seen 189 on the 750 but thats dropped 1 tooth front.. im sure the 1000 will get there.. but accuracy is always an issue.. im am gonna go do a run right now in this cold ass shit with the gps just to see how far off it is.. check back in a few with results.
