One Great Mod... Heli Bars - Review

I dont think Ive ever put a comparison on these up...... Heli Bar Clip Ons are hands down of the best and good priced mods you can do. If you always feel that your to far leaned over with to much pressure on your wrists....... A must have.

Not only do the replace the OEM clip on, the new ones raise them around an 1" (which is huge). They also allow you to push them out (more like straight bars) because they eliminate the pin that goes through the triple. A lot of you will notice my bows always sticking out, thats a lot of the reason...... They let you put a little pressure further down the clip on.

Here is a before and after..... Pics are about 5 years old.

Yea I would love a set even though I don't have any problems really. How does it affect the actual handling of the bike?

Its almost like having straight bars, so you can get great leverage on the outs side of the bar, not just pushing down on it mid grip. Plus my wrists love me for it and thats with a seat mod and stomp grips....... If anyone ever wants to try it out, let me know........

    That's what SHE said.

The XX riders use bars from a VFR. They raise it up and back more then Heli's and can usually be picked up cheap by VFR riders who bought Heli's for their bikes.

May be worth looking for bars from similar bikes that may be modded to your ride.

Keep in mind, you go to high and you are buying new brake and clutch lines!

    and look like ape hangers!
If you really love your motorcycle, let it go. If it comes back, you've highsided.
