    Exclamation One headlight or two?

I was hanging out at a local motorcycle shop talking and we got on the subject about judging distance on a bike. I ride around during the day time and most nights with my brights on. The thinking behind this was more light out the better people would see me. I t was pointed out to me that from a distance two motorcycle head lights give the illusion of a car at a farther distance. This when coming to an intersection makes you more likely misjudged.. In fact bike manufactures switched to the one head light on to bring more attention to the motorcycle. Just thought I’d share the story.

*.Intersections are the most likely place for the motorcycle accident, with the other vehicle violating the motorcycle right-of-way, and often violating traffic controls.

Good point, but that is one skinny ass car, i dissagree with that theory on the R1 cause the lights are so close together when you just have your low beams on.

It deff an interesting topic to look in to.

I haven't ridden with anyone on here that uses these, but the guy that got me back into streetbikes used one on his 900RR and loved it.

It dosent matter if you have 1 headlight or 6.... Cagers will pull out in front of you regardless. The best defense is your riding.
