I was talking to a feller today and he said he never covers his front brake. Do you? I tend to cover mine more on surface streets. I rarely do on the interstate unless my "idiot radar" turns on.

I do mostly in town or if I'm riding at a good pace.

I think I do unconsciously if I sense I'm in a position to need the brake within the next few seconds - whether it happens or not - sort of precautionary. (in traffic definitely - also in parking areas and gas stations probably)
I do when I'm rolling thru intersections and coming up on someone that may pull out in front of me or is driving erratically.

Pretty much any time I feel like there is a chance I may need to brake which is most of the time. Basically the only time I don't is if I'm droning down the highway
The joy of success is increased by the struggle along the way.
I would cover my front brake around town, and not on the highway ( If I had a Bike)
when i cross intersections only...

Well see Krash....here's the thing. I am looking down, yep - hatchet wound....that allows me to change my mind for free.
Totally depends on the existing traffic and conditions around me wherever I am. Usually do in town.

I'll cover my front brake with a couple of fingers in town and intersections if I'm moving along. But the rest of time I just scratch my balls![]()
Playing safe, is still playing!
