So I was thinking the weather this morning was real nice and I thought I'd go for a ride. Got the Green bike out and checked tires and cleaned the face shield and got all geared up, started the bike and realized I needed to go back into the garage. With no hands on the bars I went to get off and the side stand folded up and down she went throwing me off.
Smashed turn signal, scratched passenger peg, scratched grab rail, bent clutch lever and scratched up the bar end mirror. SHIT!!! I call S&S looking for the turn signal and they have one in stock (a miracle) and I go and buy it 46.00, and when I get home it turns out it's a used one with the plug missing and it too is scratched to hell. They agreed to order me a new one ad exchange them.

worst i ever did was i was walking my bike forward when my shoelace raped around the kick stand causing me to trip and the bike go down on top of me lucky my body softened the the fall for the bike

Ive forgotten the kick stand a couple times before. Sucks man, its normally a good excuse for upgrades though.....shorty levers, rearsets, or flush mounts

About 7 years ago, when I had first got my SV650, I was leaving for work one morning and completely forgot about my front disc brake lock... I still use one, but I definitely use the reminder cable now.
