Lane splitting is just what it sounds like, it's splitting between two lanes of traffic to move ahead of traffic. So if you are stuck in traffic, you slide down between the stopped cars to get ahead of them, and people even do this when driving down the interstate...Originally Posted by Magnum

Yah....drivers around here are not used to lane splitters. So if you happen to find a situation where you are gonna do this take great caution.

Holy shit this was brought back from the dead.
Helmets are required if you are under 21.
Insurance is required if you have had an accident in which you were at fault.
