Get your butt half off the seat, and try to "kiss" your mirror to get your head into position better, that will lower your body and move it to the inside.

Carlos, you're already halfway there, because you do a great job of looking through the turns. now think about leading with your head. you do that by lowering it til it pretty much hits the tank, then move it over to where the mirror should be. your outside arm drapes across the tank. once you find an aggressive position that works for you, you can ride all day and not be that fatigued.

I think you will have all the help you could want on September 5. There will be a lot of people there that will be willing to work with you. Derek is right, you already have your head turned and looking through the corner, and you have ridden Putnam to know enough of the track to not be lost. The next this to work on it upper body position, moving the shoulders down to the tank and leading with you head. After you get comfortable with that, your lower body will follow suit and you will start getting off the bike more to get the bike through the corner at the speed you are going. The "race" position feels very weird and intimidating at first, it's feel unnatural and "speeds" up your riding, because you are lower to the ground and more "one" with the bike.
Trust me, you will have more teachers than you can want....

I can't wait to see you out there!!!!
BTW There are 41 names on this list, but it says 36 paid. You need to update that so people can get an accurate "at a glance" view.
